Approved Contractor of MacRebur the Plastic Roads Company
Our Mulholland Surfacing Division are delighted to become an Approved Contractor of MacRebur. MacRebur products are made using materials derived from non-recyclable waste plastic that was destined for landfill or incineration. By extending part of the bitumen in the mix MacRebur products reduce fossil fuel usage, leading to a reduction in carbon footprint and helping to foster a circular economy. Each km of road laid using the MacRebur products, use up the equivalent weight of 684,000 bottles or 1.8 million one time use plastic bags. 1 tonne of MacRebur mix contains the equivalent of 80,000 plastic bottles. Iain Maclennan after 40 years with Mulholland Contracts, is retiring at the end of March. Iain played a major role in developing the company to one of the leading Groundworks and Civil Engineering companies in Scotland.

Mulholland Contracts Ltd have donated £250 towards Edinburgh's Dance Base Fringe programme.
We are hugely grateful for this generous support and would like to thank both you and your company for supporting us in this way ... During the festival, four brand new works will be presented over two weeks, created and danced by exquisite dancers from Scottish Ballet. Plus, Vincent E Thomas (from VTDance) will present a deeply moving, multi-layered work contemplating acts of humanity.

SAFETY ON PAPER
Pupils at an Edinburgh primary school are more aware of safety thanks to a donation by Mulholland Contracts.
The company, which was working on a nearby development, recently donated stationery to pupils at Pirniehall Primary School for pupils to complete a safety awareness project.
Principal Teacher, Moira McKellagher was delighted to accept such a generous donation.
