Our commitment to excellence and growth has opened up a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager. This role is crucial for driving our projects forward with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Your Impact:

As an integral member of our team, you will:

  • Lead the enhancement and maintenance of our HSEQ Integrated Management System, targeting ISO certification.
  • Perform comprehensive site inspections to ensure unwavering compliance with safety protocols.
  • Develop, manage, and update all HSE standards and requirements.
  • Oversee site operations with a safety-first approach.
  • Assist in tender and bid preparation, aiding our continuous growth.
  • Direct and support two Health and Safety team members.
  • Evaluate and secure the safety of all external work environments.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain our stringent standards.
  • Prepare compliance reports and manage critical site documentation.
  • Deliver detailed reports on site activities to the management team.
  • Ensure all work practices comply with current legislation.
  • Work closely with clients to accurately meet project specifications.
  • Report directly to the Construction and Managing Director.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Excels in communication, with a degree or HNC in a relevant discipline.
  • Has a proven track record as a health and safety manager in the Groundworks or House Building sectors.
  • Holds CSCS, NEBOSH, and Grad IOSH certifications, along with an ISO internal Auditor certification.
  • Possesses a valid UK driving license and is open to travel across Scotland for site visits.
