Wester inch, Bathgate

This project involves the redevelopment of the old British Leyland works for private housing. Mulholland have been working with several developers and their consultants to co-ordinate and construct a diverse range of homes.

The developers represented by Mulholland Contracts on this project include: David Wilson Homes, Persimmon Homes, Strathclyde Homes Taylor Woodrow Developments and Walker Group.

This site was a challenge due to the poor and diverse properties of the existing soils and involved several foundation solutions, not to mention gas remediation and peat removal. The combined value of work carried out by Mulholland Contracts is expected to be in excess of £50 million.
