Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Administrator


Mulholland Contracts Ltd. (MCL) are pleased to advertise the position of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) administrator, based in Polbeth, West Calder.

The candidate will be responsible for the provision of wide range of administrative and support function duties, and will be instrumental in the success of the HSE Department.  Previous administration experience is essential, whilst previous HSE and/or training experience would be desirable and of significant advantage.  The candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and have the ability to manage their own workload, with support as necessary.

This is an exciting role within a family business, where you can expect to become a close and valued member of the Mulholland team.

Note: As part of your personal development, you may be required to attend construction sites periodically, accompanied by the Health and Safety Manager or Advisor.


  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • A basic awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
  • An IOSH Working / Managing Safely Certificate, or equivalent, is desirable although not essential.
